Righteous Friendship
On that Day, close friends will be enemies to one another — except the God-conscious. Choose friendships built to survive eternity.

The moral, reflection, and application sections below are educational guidance inspired by the cited verse — they are not a translation or an authoritative tafsir.
Primary Moral
Build friendships around goodness — only those survive the grave.
Why This Matters
Friendship is the strongest shaping force after family — it normalises our habits, sets our jokes, and quietly moves our limits. Bonds formed around sin turn into mutual accusation when the bill arrives; bonds formed around taqwa become eternal alliances.
Reflection
The verse pictures the ultimate audit of relationships: partnerships in wrong dissolve into blame — 'you led me here' — while friendships in good intercede and endure. The filter is not how much fun a friend is, but where the friendship is pointed. The best friend is the one you would be glad to stand beside on that Day.
Real-Life Application
Map your three closest friendships: what does each one make easier — prayer or its neglect, honesty or gossip? Invest more deliberately in the friend who improves your deen, and add one act of worship you do together.
Reflection Question
Which friendship would you be comfortable continuing in front of Allah — and which one survives only in His absence?
Action for Today
Message a friend today to plan one good deed together — prayer, charity, or learning.
