Mercy
The Prophet ﷺ was sent as nothing but mercy to all the worlds — so mercy is the signature of everyone who follows him.
Qur'anic Reference · Al-Anbiya 21:107
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
English Translation
“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to all the worlds.”
Bengali Translation
“আর আমি তোমাকে সমগ্র জগতের জন্য কেবল রহমতরূপেই প্রেরণ করেছি।”
The moral, reflection, and application sections below are educational guidance inspired by the cited verse — they are not a translation or an authoritative tafsir.
Primary Moral
Let mercy be your default toward every creature — people, animals, and the earth itself.
Why This Matters
If the entire prophetic mission can be summarised in one word, the Qur'an chooses rahmah. Any religiosity that grows harsh toward creation has drifted from the very purpose for which the Messenger was sent.
Reflection
Not mercy to Muslims only, nor to humans only — to all the worlds: people, animals, land, generations unborn. The scope of the word is the lesson: nothing that can be treated kindly is outside the circle of this mission.
Real-Life Application
Extend mercy today to something that cannot repay you: feed a street animal, water a plant, or ease the load of someone whose service people ignore. Let one act of unpayable kindness be your quiet sunnah for the day.
Reflection Question
Who or what in your daily orbit receives your efficiency but never your mercy?
Action for Today
Perform one act of kindness today for someone or something that can never repay you.
